Starfield will now be available on other consoles beyond Xbox.
Starfield has quickly taken over Xbox Live communities since its debut only weeks ago and seems like just what was needed on this console exclusive platform.
Starfield can be found both Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms; however, due to Bethesda now being owned by ZeniMax Media which in turn owns Microsoft, there’s little hope it may ever see release for PlayStation 5. Nevertheless, another solution might still exist.
Unexpectedly, Starfield will make an unexpected crossover into another console in December when Xbox Cloud Gaming arrives with Meta Quest 3; Meta Quest 3 launches 10 October; however, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers only will have access to Xbox Cloud Gaming on Meta Quest 3.
Xbox Cloud Gaming’s arrival to Meta Quest 3 means titles like Starfield will soon be playable in glorious VR on this device. News was shared in an early tweet teasing Starfield coming soon through VR playability alongside Halo Infinite and Forza Motorsport Reboot reboot – however intergalactic space travel and car travel may leave me dizzy in virtual reality… oh dear.
Meta Quest 3 will launch soon at PS479.99/$499.99 USD for 128GB models and PS619.99/$649.99 for 512GB versions, making its release timely given cloud-based VR headset games such as Starfield, Halo Infinite and Forza Motorsport would immediately fill any storage capacity quickly.
Bethesda has created an extraordinary universe. I cannot praise Bethesda enough for their creation of Starfield; its rich details remain engaging throughout and its journey will undoubtedly leave its players breathless for months, or perhaps years, at best! Players will become immersed into its story; here lies an interactive playground where your creativity can flourish; one cannot stop thinking about all its mysteries… Bravo, Bethesda!”
Starfield is now available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, making it also accessible without extra costs for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
