Assassin’s Creed Hexe promises solid feminine energy in its gameplay experience.
Ubisoft recently unveiled its ambitious roadmap for Assassin’s Creed franchise over the coming years, and one installment promises fans “strong feminine energy.”
Ubisoft is said to be working on multiple installments after Assassin’s Creed Mirage is due out, including Codename Red, Jade, and Invictus for Nexus VR headsets, as well as Hexe in 16th/17th century Germany, according to reports.
Ubisoft’s Marc-Alexis Cote described Assassin’s Creed Hexe (German for witch) as Ubisoft Studio’s new flagship title and called it an entirely “different type” of Assassin’s Creed game when discussing its launch trailer in September 2022, showing dark forests littered with fallen leaves before panning to show an Assassin’s Creed logo made out of sticks and twigs symbolizing witch talismans hanging from a tree branch as it represents witch talismans from past games such as Origins or Origins, and its launch trailer makes this clear.
Hexe may still have no official trailers released yet, but fans have a clue that its dark witchcraft theme could make for an intriguing adventure. These hopes were further fuelled when Ubisoft Montreal Talent Acquisition Specialist Yara Tabbara posted her LinkedIn profile detailing Hexe and how it will “leave a lasting mark on the franchise,” along with having vital feminine energy – leaving fans guessing Hexe will feature a female witch assassin protagonist characters as potential protagonists.
Ubisoft has yet to confirm if our assassin will appear, yet hoping never hurts!
Before then, however, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will arrive on October 5 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC users.
