Developers regularly host competitions announcing prizes via social media for players to acquire; some fans think the latest post suggests GTA VI may soon arrive.
Rockstar Games remains tight-lipped regarding Grand Theft Auto 5, yet fans continue to discover and share leaks from this new release, while simultaneously speculation when its official announcement may arrive.
Social media has played an instrumental role in their investigations, with fans believing the developer may be hinting towards an update through subtle details in his latest tweet.
“Play GTA Online any time this week to unlock a Red Happy Moon Tee and join in on the celebrations!” reads one tweet accompanying this promotion, while fans who noticed have noticed Vinewood sign in background of image with letters V&I visible as part of this promotion.
Coincidence? Fans don’t think so – many believe Rockstar’s actions to be deliberate and are either hinting towards an announcement/reveal/teaser of some sort or plain mockery!
“Clearly this was designed with deliberate intent; now comes the real drama.

Although the choice in visible letters seems deliberate, it could very likely be an elaborate hoax – especially considering many were expecting GTA VI’s reveal at GTA V’s 10th Anniversary party, only for it not to take place as expected.
Grand Theft Auto VI will eventually arrive for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and possibly PC (although PC could come out later).
