As its development of multiple titles continues to unfold, Assassin’s Creed’s continued relevance can only increase over time. While waiting for Mirage to release, fans can look forward to Bloodstone – an eight-part graphic novel series released alongside Mirage that can fill time until then.

Written and illustrated by Guillaume Dorison, Assassin’s Creed: Bloodstone follows Tomo, one of the youngest members of Japan’s Assassin cell. After uncovering an apparent conspiracy involving Vietnam Assassins working during that war, Tomo must investigate further even if that means following in their footsteps during Vietnam itself. Originally released as two two-part graphic novel series written and released only in French initially – initially March 2019 then October 2019. Later these volumes would see release under English titles both 2020-2021 respectively.

It can be daunting trying to read all of the Assassin’s Creed graphic novels in chronological order – with multiple comics released over time and different novellas having connecting storylines or standalone installments being rereleased, as well as some comics following random assassins such as Tomo alongside Ezio Altair Connor & Edward in various capacities – it can become extremely overwhelming quickly! For this purpose a graphic has been made showing which is best in reading order as some novels feature separate storylines while others follow Ezio Altair Connor & Edward characters through time & space travel in real-time!

Ubisoft is currently immersed in planning the Assassin’s Creed franchise, including plans for Nexus VR, Infinity, Codename Hexe Jade Red Invictus Mirage as well as Nexus VR due out this year and many more installments set for 2024 onward. Mirage releases on 5 October with Nexus VR coming later that same month – each looking set to bring another adventure for Ubisoft gamers to enjoy!
