Nintendo put its Entertainment Planning & Development Division (EPD) in charge of Super Mario Odyssey 2, so the chances are it would also take on Odyssey 2. EPD has played an instrumental role in building up Nintendo Switch library titles such as Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Pikmin 4, Metroid Dread and Animal Crossing New Horizons with Super Mario 3D All-Stars all under its watch – no reason it wouldn’t come into use in future console releases as well.
