However, you could always wait some more until someone finally gives in and comes over with their wallet to pay the fee – no problem there, then!
Tekken 8 Roster: What Characters Should We Expect? Predicting the roster in Tekken can sometimes be challenging, particularly after its predecessor Tekken 7, when so many iconic characters such as Lei, Julia, Marduk Armor King Ganryu Anna were made available as DLC after it launched. So anyone from its past could make an appearance here–except Heihachi Mishima, as his character took an unfortunate dip into hot lava after Tekken 7.

He may still be playable; perhaps NetherRealm did something similar with The Joker in Injustice 2.

Utilization stats from Tekken 7 can provide us with insight into which characters players would most like to see added to the game, including Armor King, Devil Jin, and Muay Thai newcomer Fahkumram, who haven’t been confirmed as yet – particularly as fellow newcomer Leroy Smith has already been approved for inclusion before its official launch date has even passed! Ultimately, this could give us some indications as to when more highly used characters may make appearances within Tekken 8.

With only 32 characters at launch, there may not be as many classic combatants appearing, though Bandai has proved with Tekken 7 that classic characters could return as DLC releases. I hope Negan makes his comeback, too, because that would complete my wish list of must-see guest characters! Please Bandai!

Tekken 8 does not yet have an official release date but will launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms soon.
