Borderlands 4 was confirmed via Job Listing.
Since Borderlands 3 released four years ago, new job listings could indicate its arrival much earlier than anticipated.
Borderlands was released for the first time in 2009 and then again in 2012, and again in 2019. As well as these main installments, fans also experienced Legends, The Pre-Sequel, and Handsome Collection versions – each boasting cooperative gameplay with bizarre humor that keeps people wanting more from this beloved shooter RPG series! Fans still rave over these titles,, leaving many excitedly anticipating future installments from this beloved franchise!
Gearbox Software remains relatively tight-lipped about its plans for another installment, but one job listing on LinkedIn might indicate an imminent arrival for Borderlands 4. Environment artist Nicolas Rudowski can be found listed as working at Gearbox Entertainment from November 2021 until April 2023 as an environment artist on a game called Borderlands 4. He lists this under his experience tab on LinkedIn as being for Borderlands 4.
These findings could mean that Borderlands 4 has been developing since 2021 or longer, depending on when Rudowski joined. While we have yet to hear anything official regarding its release date or it looks like something is changing with Gearbox now being owned by Embracer Group that there could be new wrinkles brought upon by Gearbox’s ownership by Embracer Group that might alter how this franchise looks. but fans remain hopeful. It remains to be seen if Borderlands 4 lives up to previous installments of its series.
Till then, fans can experience Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which was released in March 2022 and features cross-platformer multiplayer gameplay centered around chaotic Tiny Tina herself and allows them to customize multiclass heroes that can loot, shoot, slash, and cast through loot-filled dungeons to reach Dragon Lord himself!
Gearbox will likely reveal Borderlands 4 soon; until then, there is plenty to catch up on in this epic franchise.
