GTA 6 teaser trailer was truly captivating; fans cannot hold back from laughing out loud at this remarkable performance by Rockstar Games.
So-called insiders have for months been making claims they know when Rockstar Games is set to unveil Grand Theft Auto VI officially; we continue our theorising, however. Just last week however, one ‘insider’ dropped an anticipated unveil date of 26 October which Rockstar itself gave further credence too!
Grand Theft Auto fans are no doubt avid, yet instead of waiting around for an official unveiling they have been gathering leaks to reveal parts of GTA VI themselves. We already have an idea what GTA VI’s map might entail with many fans believing there will be over 100 unique locations within its boundaries; and others analyzed leaked footage to create a fact sheet on its wanted system which details police chases within it – though many fans remain convinced something exciting may take place on 26 October!
Chris Marx began this drama when he took to Twitter with an announcement trailer would drop on 26 October – an unwise claim which could damage their credibility as leaker. Following this tweet, Marx doubled down and further confirmed he would risk it all; since then he has deleted his Twitter account; take that for what you will.
Rockstar Games has just begun throwing more fuel on the fire with their Twitter presence being seemingly vacant of any engagement, leading fans to question if this may be in preparation for an announcement of some sort. But perhaps most curious of all is their GTA Online Moon Festival tweet; which features only half of Vinewood sign and no obvious VI… GTA VI?
And this tweet appears to feature an image of a Waning Gibbous Moon at around 85% – this may point towards some kind of announcement about VI, even if not. Twitter user Dirty_Worka noticed this and noted it might indicate VI’s debut or another announcement being imminent based on this prominent VI pictured within it.
