Red Dead Redemption fans have identified what they consider the most realistic aspect of the game – and it isn’t simply its scenery.

Rockstar Games truly outdid themselves with Red Dead Redemption 2. From its stunning visuals to its unparalleled gameplay experience, this masterpiece remains one of the greatest videogames ever.

Fans have expressed high praise for its realistic feel and have begun deliberating which aspects are the most outstanding when it comes to attention to detail.

Red Dead Redemption fan JRushPro recently asked their fellow players: “What aspect do you find most realistic about Red Dead Redemption? Personally, my favorite aspect was being able to take up missions at any time of day aside from those with scripted dates & times; other open world games restrict you to specific times when doing missions while this game allows it whenever is best suited.”

Though answers varied widely – from its incredible open world and snow crunch when Arthur/John walk over it to how NPCs interact and react with players – one aspect of the game stood out above all others: its wild animals.

“I love how realistically horses move through fields. These little details help build world-building.”

“That deer with their antlers locked together can often be found?”

Some fans took this one step further and pointed out how meticulous Rockstar Games is with regard to horse testicles; even programming them to shrink when exposed to colder climates. One can only feel bad for whatever developer had to work on this part of the game!

As console hardware becomes ever more advanced, one cannot help but speculate how advanced Red Dead Redemption 3 – reported as Rockstar’s successor game after Grand Theft Auto VI – might become.

Red Dead Redemption 2 can be played on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms.
