Gamer’s wife destroys the limited edition Uncharted PS4 by trying to alter it to make it look nicer.
Relentlessly loyal gamers always delight when their beloved game can find exciting limited-edition items for sale, particularly gaming consoles.
As years go by, we’ve witnessed stunning limited edition consoles like Halo Infinite for Xbox Series X and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PS5 have graced shelves worldwide – both are also part of today’s topic of discussion: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on standard PS4.
One of the critical priorities of collectors should be taking great care to maintain the condition of the limited edition consoles they value, both from an investment and care perspective. Unfortunately, one Uncharted fan saw his beloved console defaced by someone other than himself after his wife gave their Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End console an unnecessary makeover.
TikToker user Isabella Veronica Hardy posted a viral video showing herself giving their console an upgrade to match their bedroom aesthetics. “Wrapping my husband’s ugly PS4 in white to match my white aesthetic room,” she proclaimed in one video post.
My console is exquisite; even thinking about someone trying to destroy it sends my anxiety through the roof! Even more shocking was when Veronica called it an “ugly, blue thing” with such audacity!
Part of me hopes this TikTok video follows conversations between husband and wife to gain attention for virality, but defacing a console just for views should still be illegal; given it was also covered with plastic, overheating problems could occur as a result.
Naturally, the TikTok thread complied with outrage from gamers wondering why someone would do such an act, and some even asked why not just purchase a white console.
Fans agree that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves from Naughty Dog is its best work to date, and some believe there may have been subtle teases of Uncharted Five being revealed for PS5 at some point during the development of Uncharted 5. However, PS5 users still lack access to an Uncharted game at press time!
Uncharted Five is set for release before PlayStation 6 arrives; we recommend not holding your breath too tightly, though, or you might miss it altogether!
