Animal Crossing now collaborates with LEGO toys!
LEGO has long collaborated with some of the leading video game publishers. Following an outstanding run of Mario-themed sets, it is no surprise that their building block toy franchise has broadened its horizons (pun intended).
Animal Crossing New Horizons players know that this delightful virtual reality experience takes place on an idyllic little island entire of talking animals that you can interact with to build relationships and run errands to earn bells – now, with these adorable LEGO figures, you can experience these captivating worlds first-hand in real time!
Nintendo of America today confirmed on Twitter that at least eight characters from its island game would soon join LEGO’s world and become immortalized plastic figurines.
Animal Crossing New Horizons characters coming to LEGO On October 5, Nintendo shared a teaser trailer showing that eight characters from Animal Crossing New Horizons will be recreated using LEGO plastic figures – you can watch it below in this tweet from Nintendo.
Rosie, Fauna, and Marshall were identified amongst those seen in the video clip, as well as Kappa Bunnie Julian Isabelle and local businessman Tom Nook.
Now you have two ways of reacting to Tom Nook’s capitalist ways: criticize him in real life or show your pity by offering him a redemption arc. One of LEGO toys’ great charms has always been being able to build entire worlds in your mind from scratch, which gives you plenty of scope for creating multiple Animal Crossing universes of your own!
