GTA 6 Americas leak reveals multiple countries to explore.
Reddit has recently seen increased activity within its GTA VI subreddit, with fans discussing whether Rockstar could set its new title across multiple countries.
User Denso95 has been combing through past leaks to better examine them, starting a thread with an informal disclaimer stating “As always, add one grain of salt to your salt shaker”, offering up advice that this speculation remains until an official statement from Rockstar Games itself.
Denso95’s most recent post contains 40 topic points concerning GTA VI project “Americas”, including Mexico and Canada being mentioned numerous times along with hinting towards a big water part of the map – two facts which could reveal an expansive map that allows players to visit cities from neighboring nations as opposed to only staying within a city itself.
At point 18 in their post, they mention seeing “US, Canada and Mexico flags grouped close together near Vice City Neighbourhood Enhance (Unreadable Word) Community Centre.”
Given file sizes and work involved in making Rockstar games, we might only get access to three cities per country at most – though Rockstar certainly have had time and staff available. Vice City will most likely serve as its counterpart within America while earlier leaks suggest cities ‘inspired by Latin countries.
Looking at the responses, there’s evidence of excitement amongst many readers who seem to have lost their salt shaker. Plenty of users expressed themselves using profanities fit to make Rockstar proud – though some seem content with more subdued expression.
IF GTA VI’s map truly is as expansive as some believe, we could spend years uncovering secrets, Easter eggs and interesting points after its release… whenever that may be.
