At nearly eight years since Fallout 4 was first released, players may feel they’ve exhausted its content. Red Scare offers them the opportunity to discover an all-new story arc for this game.

Fallout 4 was first released for public purchase in 2015 as the fourth main game in Bethesda’s Fallout series; an RPG set during a post-apocalyptic setting. While not the highest-rated installment, its success still earned Bethesda another sequel release with Fallout 76 out this past December – although considering recent updates suggesting Fallout 5 might not hit until 2030 we may need to wait some time until becoming The Sole Survivor again!

With one modder’s help, Fallout 4 now provides us with its very own original story! Red Scare adds a quest called Michael Eckert who can be found hiding out in his pre-war home backyard and tells of how his father left them alone but left no clues behind as to where or when he went – once activated this quest requires us to uncover why his disappearance may have taken place.

With all answers tucked away inside an underground shelter behind their family home, a seemingly secret shelter seems to hold all of them; now is the time for exploration while braving raider-infested Hardware and Lumber store raiders. You must open this hidden refuge, infiltrating into the depths and unraveling its troublesome tale: Father Amos Eckert was “an extreme-nationalist, anti-communist businessman with severe paranoia. A mysterious underground shelter offers up some answers,” states its mod synopsis.

Nexus Mods hosts many quest mods designed to extend your Fallout 4 experience beyond 2030, including this particular quest mod. Finally, Fallout 76: Atlantic City will launch later this year featuring interactive casinos, new factions, and missions; becoming Fallout 76’s second expansion after The Pitt which came out last September.
