Red Dead Redemption 2 players discovered a precious secret encounter after hundreds of hours spent looking.
No matter how many Red Dead Redemption 2 playthroughs one completes, new secrets always await discovery and sharing online. Such was the case recently for one Reddit user who discovered something random while traversing 1890s America.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has been out since 2018, yet that doesn’t mean its full content has been explored yet. Recently, players have discovered secret rooms, disturbing scenes, and hidden cheat codes within this beloved sequel – these discoveries just belong to those we know about so far! And since players continue to love Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar seems to have created quite an avid following who remain fans.
Reddit user Rexann shared their discovery on r/reddeadredemption’s r/reddeadredemption page: they discovered something they hadn’t noticed previously during their fifth time playing rdr: Arthur galloping along. Soon enough, a fellow member of Arthur’s gang approaches him, informing them about Bill being kidnapped and needing their assistance rescuing her.
At one point in my playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2, something similar occurred; my focus had become so consumed with clearing the map that I missed coming ‘home’ for several in-game days. One of the gang members approached me asking for assistance should I ever want to return, but this seemed an unusual event in Red Dead Redemption 2. Perhaps this is meant as a way of keeping you on the story and not becoming distracted by all sorts of wildlife nearby like I had been!
At any rate, this discovery for Red Dead fans is proof that open-world games offer surprises left and right – let’s hope the same holds in Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 when/if it arrives!
