Hogwarts Legacy fans are unimpressed by the free download from the publisher, which many consider “rough”.

Hogwarts Legacy fans were recently fortunate enough to test Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions; however, its reviews seem disappointing.

Hogwarts Legacy may have become one of the most celebrated Harry Potter titles ever created, amassing over $1 billion in revenues across Xbox, PlayStation PC, and Nintendo Switch platforms, yet it does contain its share of problems.

Players enjoyed exploring Hogwarts and flying across the skies on broomsticks with great delight,. However, many found their experience slightly dissatisfying due to an empty open world and no consequences for using dark magic (something considered taboo in its lore).

Some even accused Avalanche Software of breaking their promises regarding features intended to be featured, with Quidditch not even an option in our game. This was truly disappointing and an offense against justice in itself.

At Hogwarts, the popular Wizarding World sport was inaccessible, cleverno onemissed with an explanation as to why no-one could participate. Even so, players still held out hope it’d become available as DLC content.

Unfortunately, that has not come to pass; instead, we are getting Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions instead. Playtesting of this spin-off series has begun, and early reports don’t bode well.

One Reddit post written by one fan who attended the playtest stated, “Quidditch Champions is rough…” Although we cannot see exactly why that person felt this way, most likely, too many microtransactions and fans quickly voiced their dissatisfaction about that Rocket Leaguegame seems more geared toward rocket league/fortnite, not Harry Potter! Don’t blame them…”

Welcome to modern gaming!

“I prefer having unlockables as rewards for doing certain activities instead of this battle pass nonsense; it’s my least favorite aspect of gaming.”

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions doesn’t yet have an officiase date, but it should arrive sometime within this year.
