Rockstar unleashed an official GTA 6 teaser trailer online this month and left some angry.
Grand Theft Auto VI conspiracy theorists believe Rockstar may be using updates as bait.
At this stage in October, Grand Theft Auto fans are confident Rockstar will release Grand Theft Auto VI before its expiration.
Evidence in favor of their claims include Rockstar’s suspicious activities that point towards something significant and the simultaneous unveilings of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 during October.
Recently however, conspiracy theorists have come out in force once more and believe GTA Developer is trying to throw them off track with its new update for Grand Theft Auto Online.
Looking at the official GTA+ page, a new image promotes free taxi rides across Los Santos for subscribers of GTA+. At the top of the image can be seen an iconic Vinewood sign but with only five letters visible reading “VINew”, which fans suspect could indicate something about an imminent reveal.
Not too recently, Rockstar Games made waves when they offered up a special GTA Online T-shirt that players could redeem with only part of Vinewood Sign’s letter “VI” visible in its design.
No one knows for certain if Rockstar is sending any hint that an official announcement will soon follow, but the signs are there if we pay attention.
Waiting has been agonising; many expected the announcement during GTA V’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
However, that didn’t occur, so fans have spent the past weeks following leaks and rumor relating to GTA VI, with one recent claim suggesting an official logo has been discovered for it.
Grand Theft Auto VI will soon hit Xbox Series X/S consoles, PlayStation 5 computers and PC.
