Modern video gaming and reality are gradually merging as technologies and software advance at rapid rates.

Recent months saw Unreal Engine 5 gameplay make its rounds through social media, showing an immersive shooter with stunning visuals that were hard to believe. Bodycam footage taken directly from a tactical police officer appeared convincing; in reality, though, it came from Unrecord, developed by indie studio DRAMA, set for P.C. release later.

Well, now it seems as though other games inspired by bodycam games may follow in its footsteps, and this horror game appears somewhat subpar compared to some of its peers; I recall all too vividly all the P.T… clones released post-2014 that look much similar.

However, what sets this other bodycam footage game apart from Unrecord is its survival horror shooter format. Not only did I get some Unrecord-esque vibes from it, but there were even elements reminiscent of F.E.A.R. in there!

Lost Fragment is not to be confused with Critical Failure Studio’s forthcoming RPG Lost Fragments. Ninhil Inane Studio is creating Lost Fragment out of Japan; like Unrecord, it utilizes Unreal Engine 5 technology, and numerous video uploads have already surfaced online, touting this shooter as “one of the most realistic ever made.”

Lost Fragment has many similarities with Unrecord, yet this early gameplay footage set in a hospital setting looks stunningly good – although we won’t know for sure until its official release. An impressive trailer may make headlines online, but that often raises expectations among video game communities; only time will tell whether Lost Fragment lives up to its potential!

Lost Fragment is currently only being developed for P.C., with no details as to when or if the game will arrive on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
