GTA 7 may take years before release; fans are warned.

If the news surrounding GTA VI seems lacking in substance, wait until you learn of GTA VII, known as the game that promises us all an imminent death sentence!

As much as I wish it were otherwise, this sentence is no joke. However, most of us will likely still be around when GTA VI 2 hits shelves; many will likely be significantly older due to over a decade spent developing this title – in which its completion has proven much slower than expected. Fans have voiced their displeasure with Rockstar Games for making such an announcement so soon!

LegacyKillaHD recently provided me with some more disheartening truths. “While some speculate on when or if Rockstar will release another GTA game post-GTA 6, some developers don’t anticipate continuing the franchise.”

Reddit threads had long discussed our future selves when Rockstar announces further GTA titles – from people’s age difference, through jokes about being old when V came out, all the way up to how one player predicted they would all be dead when Rockstar finally announces further GTA titles in future titles like VII or VIII (and beyond!). “When V came out, I was still attending college – now when VII is announced, I will likely be dead!” someone joked; another simply put, “I will die.” Straight to the point!

Still, while most understand GTA VII as being far away, LegacyKillaHD points out that most devs likely won’t be around when work on GTA VII or whatever its name may be begins in 15 years. “[They don’t expect them]’ll still be around then,” LegacyKillaHD added.

Games “lightyears ahead” of their predecessors come at the cost of waiting longer – I hate being repetitive, but these are facts we must face head-on.
