Codename Red has made an online appearance and could hint at its release soon.
One of the writers for Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red has updated their LinkedIn profile with artwork from the game; fans hope this may indicate an imminent reveal.
Since Assassin’s Creed Mirage came out, fans have been delighted that Ubisoft is returning the series to its stealthy roots of stealthy tactical gameplay. RPG games such as Odyssey and Valhalla remain on Ubisoft’s agenda, with potentially one final installment being unveiled, that being Assassin’s Creed Codename Red (anticipated).
Even though we know very little about the game at present, what we can tell is that it will take place in Feudal Japan, feature an open-world experience like its predecessor, and draw inspiration from Japanese ninja fantasies (known as shinobis in Japanese).
According to media reports, this game will likely be released sometime around 2024; however, LinkedIn activity from one of its writers suggests a gameplay reveal or specific release date may occur later this year.

This artwork shows what seems to be the game’s protagonist – currently unnamed – holding onto a sword while facing towards an iconic Japanese pagoda in the distance.
Fans believe Ubisoft may be planning for an impressive unveiling at this year’s Game Awards ceremony in December, as suggested by their artwork.
“Hoping to see something of this at The Game Awards.
“D’you think releasing an award trailer early for games?”
“Really excited for this game! While Reddit seems to have an antipathy for Ubi’s games in general (AC games included), I have always enjoyed them for what they are and have found their release even more thrilling because now we get to explore Japan.”
Although it might be unlikely, we might get some new details regarding the game’s story, world, and characters later this year. If this occurs, we could witness its debut.
Next year is expected to mark the release of Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red.
