LEGO Red Dead Redemption is among our favourite experiences ever, making an impressionful first impression with audiences everywhere.
Few things bring me more pleasure than seeing a LEGO version of one of my favorite franchises. LEGO seems to make everything better in many people’s eyes, and the desire for everything around us to be made out of colorful bricks is something most of us grapple with every day.
Oh, man. If you thought seeing LEGO Geralt from The Witcher was impressive, wait till you see little Arthur with that painted-on beard and moody expression staring back at you from Reddit – that will blow your mind! Who made LEGO their job? That would be Candid-Revenue-3326 on Reddit, who devotes himself solely to LEGO.
As soon as they shared their creation, players demanded LEGO turn this fan art into reality – and I joined in that demand. Let’s face it; imagine all those studs flying, Dutch demanding we collect more, and each death is marked with an outpouring of studs as an act of mourning; it indeed would be “crossover we all need,” in the words of one Redditor.
Could such an ambitious endeavor become a reality? Perhaps, though, it would require agreement among Take-Two, Rockstar, and LEGO for it to come about. As much as RDR may be a beloved franchise, its financial viability pales in comparison with that of Harry Potter; I know which game I prefer playing myself!
Though we might never get our wish of seeing Arthur, Dutch, John, and especially Rufus play out as they should in LEGO form again – as God intended – LEGO Animal Crossing should come out sometime around 2024 and give us some small hope that something better awaits.
