New free RPG currently outshines Steam’s most acclaimed titles
Profiting off the popularity of One Piece on Netflix and anime in general, Blox Fruits on Roblox currently draws more players than some of the best titles on Steam. The game currently attracts thousands of users each day!
Blox Fruits is an RPG on Roblox platform which draws heavily from One Piece’s manga/anime storylines, taking many elements directly from it. At first, it may resemble World of Warcraft; there are quest givers located throughout the world and early missions mimic traditional MMO goals (kill 20 enemies here etc), before turning into an enjoyable RPG!
Blox Fruits feels very much like a fan-made One Piece game; devil fruits that give powers to characters can be found here, while its story references familiar plot points from the anime series. Though all this material should only serve as loose inspiration due to copyright concerns, hundreds of thousands still log-on regularly despite this limitation.
Roblox offers over 40 million games and experiences, many of which incorporate anime elements. Blox Fruits currently has approximately 1.25 million users while Counter-Strike 2 currently holds at approximately 1.2 million – thanks to recent updates for Halloween that showcase it prominently on Roblox home pages and more often than not on them!
