PlayStation Plus subscribers were treated to a bonus October free game in October.
October is often celebrated for all its Halloween fun, from dressing up spookily and collecting sweet treats for trick-or-treaters we hope won’t come knocking, to being an especially generous month for PlayStation Plus subscribers. But October 2018 promises even more surprises in store than last year for PS Plus subscribers!
No need for console war discussions here – people like what they like and that should be enough! However, no matter your preferences here at GAMINGbible we feel it fair to acknowledge PS Plus is particularly impressive this month with Alien: Isolation, Dead Island Definitive Collection and Dark Picture Anthology House of Ashes all added as extra goodies that should keep your mind ticking over for hours on end!
PlayStation Plus Extra, perhaps in response to drastically decreasing subscriber interest, has delivered A-Train Express as the October free game without prior announcement or cost. While its graphics might turn some people off, this freebie from PS is nonetheless coming at no additional charge and without official notice from PS; although only US subscribers can claim this game; in February Asia subs were also granted Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris instead!
PS Plus Extra subscribers who reside outside the US and don’t pay an annual membership can take advantage of an alternative bonus instead, although this one requires spending money. Subscribers can receive up to PS30 off any two items purchased online through PlayStation Direct Store – an excellent opportunity given Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s incredible opening hour sales numbers have caused much excitement among its fan base! Perhaps now is an appropriate time for PS Plus users, considering they haven’t exactly been overjoyed with what has been on offer lately due to price hikes being announced; now could be an ideal chance!
If none of those games pique your interest, there’s always “greatest survival horror”, but be warned – it is definitely not for those looking for easy entertainment!
