Red Dead Redemption 2’s final level has been recognized for being “peak video game storytelling”.

Red Dead Redemption II continues to earn praise, with gamers hailing its depth, in particular its story, as unsurpassable. Winning multiple awards for its narrative, it comes as no surprise that its final level has been honored as the “peak video game storytelling”.

Reddit hosts discussions for many missions from different games besides Red Dead Redemption II; however, given that its untouchability stands up even after many years have gone by it is clear that Red Dead Redemption II stood tall among them all.

At various moments in the final level of the game, Arthur’s final ride could be considered its narrative highlight; for many fans however, this moment stands out. From its music to animations to unavoidable fate – everything comes together into an emotionally powerful scene which hits right where it hurts; I dare anyone not to shed tears playing those final minutes; some gamers were so affected that after finishing it felt depression: MadTeaCup_YT summed it up best: “Chapter 6 hit me like a freight train…f**king amazing.”

Even though RDRII’s final scenes can be emotional rollercoasters that linger long after its end, happiness can still be found throughout. All elements contribute to its lush tapestry of storytelling – one such highlight being when Rufus was recognized by his master as “being good boy”, even if this doesn’t relate directly to plot development – who wouldn’t appreciate such an adorable pup as being anything less than incredible?

RDR contains such powerful moments that it outshines all other narratives – Uncharted, Control, and Ghost of Tsushima being an exception – making their experience unparalleled. Never before have fans said three games weren’t needed because the previous ones were so well received! Nowhere else does such sentiment prevail so strongly than here.

As with anything, this decision should ultimately rest with you; no judgement from us if another game mission resonates more strongly than RDRII for you; there are so many games which touch us deeply emotionally.
