GTA 6 will release in Spring 2025. It appears.
So it has come to pass… another month without seeing GTA VI trailer! At least its release date seems more and more certain though.
Last month it seemed increasingly likely that GTA VI would be released on 26 October, with various insiders promising its trailer would arrive shortly. Rockstar itself added fuel to this speculation when they uploaded a private video for viewing by fans.
Rockstar failed to follow through with its original announcement date of April 13th; however, one industry insider known for leaking information such as GTA Trilogy remake claims they heard something in terms of release dates from multiple developers.
Tez2, an insider from Rockstar Games, recently took to GTAForums and reported they’ve heard from studio that GTA VI won’t release until spring 2025 – some five months later than we previously expected! Furthermore, Tez2 hinted the launch could yet be further postponed.
“Several developers expect a release window in 2025,” they write. A spring release is anticipated; although Rockstar previously planned a spring launch of both GTA V & RDR 2 that eventually changed to fall release dates.”
Insider predictions continue to indicate that GTA VI may still be released this year as part of Rockstar’s 25th Anniversary festivities around late November or early December – although we all spent October hoping against all hope this would come to pass!
GTA VI may finally arrive sometime between mid and late 2025. Here’s hoping when they do announce it that there’s an exact release date so we can put an end to all speculation and begin counting down properly!
