Hogwarts Legacy: Dark Wizard Wanted introduces GTA-like penalties and Azkaban to Hogwarts Legacy: Dark Wizard Wanted.
Hogwarts Legacy may have been one of the most successful games released this year, but that does not equate to perfection; there remains plenty of opportunity for improvement.
Hogwarts Legacy may have generated over $1 billion in revenues to date, yet many critics contend it feels “criminally empty”. When put against games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom it becomes easy to understand why Hogwarts Legacy quickly fell from Game Of The Year consideration.
While Hogwarts Legacy modding scene may not be as vibrant or robust, some are working diligently on fun new systems and expansions to keep it relevant and alive.
Fans were eager for one feature they longed to see implemented: the wanted-level and penalty system that had originally been included but later cut due to time restrictions. Such an approach ensures spell casting results in consequences rather than simply “waving your wand around aimlessly”.
Modder jedijosh920 has created the ideal system, creating an incredible mod that forces players to consider whether using Avada Kedavra on NPCs at random would be wise or not – though anyone is free to use the killing curse at will! Do so while having this mod installed and Aurors from Ministry of Magic may send Aurors against the player if caught, sending you on your journey towards Azkaban imprisonment.
Becoming a wanted witch or wizard actually results in posters featuring your image appearing until either you escape from persecution or are defeated.
Be mindful that this mod is completely unofficial; I doubt Warner Bros. would approve of you installing something which allows you to kill innocent students in their game – though feel free to do it anyway if that is your choice!
