PlayStation Plus free game boasts one of the most breathtaking open world environments ever seen since 2023.
2023 has certainly been one of the biggest years for video games ever; I would argue it may even have been one of the top releases ever in terms of top shelf releases alone.
Just consider some of the games we’ve enjoyed over recent months: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 absolutely killed it; Alan Wake 2 was outstanding; Baldur’s Gate 3 absolutely floored us; The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom was exceptional and no mention should be made here of other outstanding titles like Super Mario Wonder, Sea Of Stars or Starfield which all proved outstanding as well.
Believe me when I tell you this: it pains me to tell you this, but there’s an incredible 2023 hit you may have missed in all the excitement. However, its availability through PlayStation Plus Extra makes this opportunity accessible and free for many of you!
Tchia may have gotten lost among all of the excitement over its release back in March, but that should not stop you from giving this beautiful open world adventure a shot when things quiet down a bit! Our review scored it 9/10 overall!
Tchia combines elements from The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker with Disney’s Moana to offer players an exploration experience unlike anything they’ve experienced before. Players explore an idyllic series of islands scattered atop an expanse of ocean that encourage them to… explore. There is no real combat involved here – only exploring, talking to locals, using your powers for leaping onto objects/animals within Tchia; whether this means flying through the skies like an eagle or rolling along like an elephant is entirely up to you – Tchia will let players explore.

No cars or vehicles exist here (although one belonging to its villain might exist); soul jumping onto various island creatures allows players to appreciate its beautiful archipelago from above – I daresay Tchia may well be one of the most visually stunning games they’ve played recently!”
