Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher franchise is considered among the premier RPG series ever. At least with 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt release.

Metacritic gave The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt an overall score in the high 90s, garnering it the distinction of Must-Play status. Over time, however, The Witcher 3 became even greater through free new-gen upgrades; although an unexpected nudity update may also have happened by accident!

CD Projekt announced several upcoming titles in October 2022, such as Cyberpunk 2077: Redux as well as new Witcher trilogy games as well as multiplayer options like today’s discussion topic: the Witcher multiplayer title.

CD Projekt has posted job listings suggesting the Witcher multiplayer title would include both co-op and PvE elements – creating uncertainty amongst some fans about what exactly this new version may entail. According to Game Rant’s reports, however, new details have come forward about its development codenamed Project Sirius will feature an open world environment.

Project Sirius will be developed jointly by series developer CD Projekt RED and The Molasses Flood (The Flame in the Flood and Drake Hollow). According to sources familiar with its development process, this Witcher universe multiplayer game will boast a “Slavic open world.”

Job Listing For Senior or Principal Level Designer

At present, The Witcher multiplayer game does not yet have a release date but we can safely assume it will come out for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Furthermore, its debut could possibly occur within several years at least.
