Xbox users now have access to a former PlayStation exclusive game free of charge on Xbox.
Subscription holders to Xbox Game Pass will soon gain free access to Rollerdrome – previously exclusive to PlayStation.
Rollerdrome was developed and published by Roll7 and Private Division and released back in August 2022 for PlayStation 4/5 and PC, and it truly delights. Players take on the role of Kara Hassan, an athlete competing in Rollerdrome – an action sport in which participants must simultaneously roller skate while shooting at opponents – while simultaneously shooting off. We rated Rollerdrome nine out of 10, writing: “Rollerdrome is an outstanding action game with plenty of captivating lore to contemplate while you catch air, grind lips or shoot opponents – simply put: don’t miss out!”
Rolldrome earned high reviews across PC and PlayStation 5, earning it an 81 score on Metacritic for each. Over one year after its initial release, Rollerdrome will finally make an Xbox console appearance as part of Xbox Game Pass beginning November 28. If not subscribed, players may purchase it outright at $29.99 if desired.
Headbangers: Rhythm Royale, Jusant Wartales and Thirsty Suitors have just arrived on Game Pass as well – in addition to Football Manager 2024! Dungeons 4 and Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will arrive later on 9 November as well.
Wild Hearts will release for EA Play that day as well, followed by Spirittea joining Game Pass the following Wednesday and Coral Island coming on Thursday (both of these games provide relaxing atmosphere perfect for this time of year).
