Sorry GTA VI; as much as I want to meet you – even just see a glimpse – I am all-in for this GTA IV remake. Its intricate detail gives Rockstar Games an extra push when creating GTA VI; additionally it shows fans what could happen if GTA VI fails – they could always return back to Niko’s time and experience GTA IV once more!
Returning to classic GTA might be just what’s needed; after all, GTA VI appears set to include iconic trucking missions from San Andreas – not sure we all feel up for that but regardless it proves Rockstar is drawing inspiration from previous releases to create its newest work.
While GTA IV turned 15 this year, this fan-made concept remaster shows its timeless nature by YouTuber 12th Hour’s talented hands – known among fans for their innovative GTA concepts – is nothing less than stunning. They joke in their video intro: if this doesn’t help get hired by Rockstar they might quit conceptualising altogether which would be devastating news to fandom; Rockstar are failing us so it needs people like 12th Hour to fill the gaps created by GTA VI’s disappointing release.
But don’t just take our word for it that this remake is amazing; listen to what the fans think as well! One user commented “Dude… You are an artist. Never allow anyone take that joy from you; you deserve all of the recognition and money available today,” while another post encouraged 12th Hour to create its own team since they are “insanely good at what they do”.
Given that GTA VI won’t hit us until 2025 and any sequel could take decades to develop, we need talent like 12th Hour to help get us through these dark times. Without their aid we would all simply become disgruntled gamers posting messages to Twitter (I refuse to call it “X”) complaining.
