Rockstar Games officially unveiled GTA 6 trailer today.
Rockstar Games has unveiled the official first trailer for GTA VI.
Reports began surfacing late yesterday night that Rockstar Games may soon announce GTA VI; and we now know for certain. Dan Houser from Rockstar confirmed via his own tweet when we can expect the first gameplay footage for this anticipated video game title.
Houser made this announcement via Twitter: “We are beyond delighted to inform all our fans and followers of Grand Theft Auto V’s first trailer release in early December!” Houser stated.
“Rockstar Games will soon celebrate 25 years,” Houser noted, and thanks to our players worldwide we have had the incredible privilege of creating games we are deeply passionate about.
“Rockstar Games was established with the idea that video gaming could become as essential a part of culture as other forms of entertainment; we hope we have contributed our share by producing games you adore in that process.”
Rockstar still refers to their next Grand Theft Auto game as being “the next Grand Theft Auto”, although we still do not know exactly what that entails.
Tez2 from Rockstar Games recently made headlines when he revealed on GTAForums they heard GTA VI won’t launch until spring 2025; slightly later than what had previously been speculated on. Furthermore, Tez2 suggested this could still be delayed further based on feedback they’ve been getting from insiders at Rockstar Studios.
“Several developers expect the release date for GTA V & RDR 2 in 2025,” according to them, with spring being an expected release window; though Rockstar initially targeted spring for both games but decided on fall release instead.
An insider accurately predicted that GTA VI would be announced this year – so stay tuned next month to catch it all unfolding!
