Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has been available to players for some time, which means CD Projekt RED have likely switched over their focus towards creating The Witcher 4.

But we still don’t have an official release date, nor even know its title – fans frequently refer to it as The Witcher 4 but devs have explained that this game will kickoff an entirely new trilogy with Geralt not guaranteed as our protagonist; nonetheless I wouldn’t be surprised if major links and callbacks from its predecessor trilogy appeared within. Fans eagerly anticipate an update; in the meantime one has created a mockup using Unreal Engine 5 while elsewhere fans reminisce over 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as they remember its best quests from 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!

Many fans agree that The Battle of Kaer Morhen is one of the greatest quests, with Reddit user Byzantine_Merchant initiating this debate by writing, “Probably my favorite sequence in gaming: recruiting every possible ally; fighting off Wild Hunt; winning Pyrrhic victory — on one side they did not capture Ciri but they killed Vesemir; it felt like an actual siege and struggle throughout; yet what I love most are all the emotions involved when defeating Wild Hunt — you won but lost everything they hadn’t willing to lose!”

Now you are attending Vesemir’s funeral, an experience which brings with it its own range of feelings after your quest with Lambert. Kaer Morhen seems to be finished off for now – with its castle crumbling into disrepair and Eskel and Lambert leaving to pursue other endeavors elsewhere; your allies cannot stay and won’t return either; while Eskel and Lambert won’t either; in many ways it is sad, yet in others not at all; rather it marks a new chapter for all involved – its like playing it all over again all at the start! Ah sweet memories; just like starting all over again

User PaulSimonBarCarloson said, “This questline was one of my favorites in the entire game; watching all those you helped fight together to save Ciri was really cool and Vesemir’s death made for some truly tragic scenes,” while user Lapwing68 noted it is indeed “an emotional rollercoaster ride, even on my third playthrough, though perhaps The Bloody Baron questline must come close second.”
