After an issue prevents players from finishing The Walking Dead game
Unsurprisingly, The Walking Dead: Destinies has an error that prevents players from beating the game – leaving many disappointed and furious players fuming over this glitch.
In case you missed it, The Walking Dead: Destinies is an interactive adaptation of the hit television show of the same name. While not the first game to explore zombie-survival IPs like TellTale Games has done with The Walking Dead series.
Instead of following an established story arc, The Walking Dead: Destinies allows you to make choices that alter its entire timeline – for instance during Rick Grimes and Shane Walsh’s iconic standoff you have control of who survives and can decide who lives to tell about it!
Skull Island: Rise Of Kong was developed by the same team, so this game’s graphics and gameplay may no longer hold up against current standards.
Fans of the series were shocked at its quality, especially given that it sold for such an exorbitant premium price. Many are accusing it of being nothing short of a “shameless cash grab”, after an game-breaking bug stopped players from finishing it altogether.
As reported by ComicBook, Twitter user @ShirrakoGaming shared their experience on PlayStation 5, explaining you can only get so far into a story before being stopped from continuing by GameMill publisher’s limit of 50 euros for this “broken game that needs patched to finish”, prompting several content creators “all to stop at same bugged section and wait on dev patch to come through.
GameMill’s recent releases, such as Gollum for example, have proven disastrous to fans of The Walking Dead as they contain numerous broken games with low ratings – something The Walking Dead fans should take note of and GameMill should worry over as these come into circulation and become part of its portfolio of worst-rated titles for 2023.
The Walking Dead: Destinies is available on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC platforms.
