Unreal Engine 5 space RPG will feature Starfield meets Mass Effect characters in an exciting crossover feature.

Space exploration is one of the hallmarks of video game charm – even its grimier moments like Dead Space can leave us craving more. Thus it should come as no surprise that today we discuss an RPG that’s like Starfield mixed with Mass Effect!

If you find Mass Effect boresome and are feeling worn-out from waiting until its next teaser drops, The Crust could be just what’s needed as a diversionary game.

Not that this game will change either of those situations, but at least it’ll help pass time while awakening newfound passion for space exploration. Don’t be put off by its similarities with Starfield, Mass Effect or The Crust; each Unreal Engine 5 RPG offers something distinct in terms of gameplay experience and charm!

Gamers lucky enough to try The Crust demo are eagerly awaiting its future releases, including its demo. One potential player raved, “[The game looks really interesting]. Although I may not have much time available yet for testing the demo itself… [it is definitely] on my wishlist!”

Launched onto Steam as “narrative basebuilder”, The Crust will become available as of Q1 2024 via Steam and is currently advertised on Kickstarter as being an immersive “story mode and cinematics base builder”. Players will trade, explore, mine, take control and trade your way through The Crust story’s story mode for maximum fun and impact – hopefully with your help on Kickstarter too.

To discover and explore all the game’s mechanics, head over to Steam. Unfortunately, the demo available during Steam Fest has since disappeared but gameplay footage should provide sufficient detail in its place. Also keep in mind that macOS 10.15 Catalina or later will prevent running this title!
