GTA 6 leaked screenshot reveals dramatic visual upgrades over Red Dead Redemption 2.
December is fast approaching, which promises that some of our GTA VI queries may soon be addressed. I say “some” as there’s no way Rockstar Games is going to provide us all of their answers in one go – especially after teasers such as GTA V teased us for years on end!
GTA VI promises a noticeable visual upgrade compared to Red Dead Redemption 2. Arthur Morgan’s world is still an unparalleled masterpiece five years later; so for GTA VI to build upon and surpass that achievement is exciting indeed.
One Twitter user attempted to illustrate this contrast through side-by-side comparisons using screenshots from GTA V, RDR 2 and leaked footage of GTA VI – unfortunately that post has since been taken down, either deleted by its poster or ordered off of social media – meaning any nighttime comparison is now lost forever.
GTA VI looks stunningly good; and I agree it represents a major step up in visual quality from RDR 2. Not just because hidden details have been seen in leaked footage that surpass the quality of horse testicles found in RDR 2, but due to graphic advancement.
Rockstar must acknowledge that it’s been 10 years since GTA V first hit shelves; technology has advanced significantly in that period and its successor needs to reflect this progress; otherwise fans would undoubtedly express displeasure with them and call out any lack thereof in future sequels.
Rumors swirling that an announcement could take place as early as 3 December suggests it should soon. We only hope this won’t turn into another trailer tease and then something different arrives as some fans believe.
