GTA 6 gameplay amazes fans and stands as one of the greatest-looking titles ever seen on modern consoles.
Imagine my surprise to learn of GTA VI’s first trailer being available now – early! And for UK residents unaware, yes – early.
Rockstar had planned for their trailer of GTA VI to debut today at 2pm GMT/ 9am EST; unfortunately a leaker managed to post an early and grainy version online early, prompting Rockstar’s response via their social media outlet of choice, X (formerly Twitter): “Our trailer has leaked so please watch it on YouTube”. I’m sure by now you have enjoyed feasting your eyes upon GTA VI trailer; its already breaking social media records like nothing before it. Although its reveal confirmed many details we suspected including its title/setting Vice City setting as well as Jason/Lucia being main protagonists (though we still don’t know who voices their characters).
Rockstar may only have shown us 91 seconds of GTA VI so far, but wow are they doing something right! While we expected GTA VI would surpass our expectations graphically – after all, look how revolutionary Red Dead Redemption 2 was five years ago – but I am absolutely amazed that Rockstar is pulling this off again. Most fans seem confused as most trailers appear as CGI. No kidding here folks; this footage comes directly out of engine.
Needless to say, early reviews for GTA V have been extremely complimentary. “Graphically this game is amazing!” raved YouTube user DomTheBombYT while Reddit user pubgaxt raved “the city feels absolutely alive and vibrant! Can’t wait for its release”. NoClerk5520’s words of wisdom: just compare GTA V’s trailer with this one… the details are incredible!”
Even the official Among Us account joined in: “Sorry about all of the leaks but thank you so much for all of the hard work on this, very excited. Us too – unfortunately GTA VI won’t land until 2025 so we need to keep up this hype for as long as possible!”
