Fallout, Minecraft and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag merge for an extraordinary RPG experience

I must confess my love of any video game which allows me to explore the seas is undying; The Wind Waker was my favourite Zelda title; Black Flag from Assassin’s Creed stood out; Sea Of Thieves is simply incredible.

Now that I know more about you, I feel closer than ever; therefore you know my excitement in playing Age Of Water; an exciting new game combining Fallout, Minecraft and even some aspects from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag!

According to Steam’s description: “Age of Water is an immersive online adventure game set on an Earth submerged by water, where storms, combat and trading take place daily. Navigating stormy seas while fighting rival ships or building your own vessel for trade can all lead to amazing treasure hunts across this virtual ocean world and uncover its many mysteries!”

Given GAMINGbible readers are mostly older, I know referencing Waterworld: The Video Game won’t do much to win your hearts quickly – for argument’s sake let’s just call this an aquatic Fallout instead.

Age Of Water promises an expansive open world to discover by yourself or with friends, featuring settlements to discover, bases to construct, and ships that you can fully customise as you sail the waves. Whether soloing the adventure or teaming up with others to share in it’s fantastic fun; developer Three Whales Studio currently plans a Q1 2024 release so hopefully we’ll all see this soon; stay tuned as more info arrives our way – stay updated here for any further news about Age Of Water’s arrival – thank you!
