Now is finally when Assassin’s Creed 2 receives its next-gen remaster we so long desired!
Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series remains one of the most beloved action-adventure series ever developed, and with each release, Ubisoft attempts to improve consumer experiences. Unfortunately, that goal may or may not always be fulfilled.
No matter whether each game in the Assassin’s Creed series improves on its predecessor, its continued commercial success ensures its longevity for many more years to come. Since 2007, we’ve seen plenty of sequels and spin-offs of Assassin’s Creed; which ones we think are best is subjective, but one game likely to get mentioned among its greatness is 2009’s Assassin’s Creed II.
Ubisoft launched The Ezio Collection in 2016, which contained remasters of Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations, as well as previously released DLC. However, initially, fans weren’t happy with its visual quality or performance on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. However, over time, I can vouch that both models perform beautifully when used together as intended!
That being said, as stunning as these might appear on current-gen consoles, PC users have an inherent advantage: not only can modern components power games with updated components for an updated experience, thanks to talented modders’ work and creativity in modding beloved video games into something even better with extra content added, such as in Assassin’s Creed II for example.
Claimer has recently applied his talents to make Assassin’s Creed II look better than ever, thanks to shade, ray tracing, and global illumination enhancements. Not only this, but Claimer also promises that all Ezio Collection games will benefit as a result! We wish the Claimer all the best!
Claimer requires a competent PC to take full advantage of his modifications; once enabled, they allow you to play some of Ubisoft’s stealth classics with unparalleled fidelity and immersion.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection c, can be played across PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox and Nintendo Switch platforms.
