Time Survivors, developed by indie developer Lunar Chili and set for release soon on Steam Store, promises an intriguing retro-style roguelike. As stated on its dedicated Steam store page: “Time Survivors is an historically inaccurate roguelike. Conquer minions as Lincoln, Tesla or Cleopatra for unique abilities as you fight through various historical eras collecting resources as you unlock and enhance gameplay through an unparalleled skill tree metaprogression”.
From its gameplay trailer alone, Time Survivors appears to draw heavily upon Vampire Survivors by Poncle for inspiration – I don’t mean just name comparison; whatever way it may have come, hopefully, its influence on Time Survivors will prove fruitful and positive for both titles.
