Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (Tie Quan Tatsugutonamento 2 Tekken Taggu Tonamento) is the 8th main instalment of the Tekken fighting game, launched at Japanese arcades on the 14th of September, 2011. As in the original Tekken Tag Tournament, matches consist of each participant choosing two of their opponents.
It is possible to swap their opponents anytime, which allows an inactive character to slowly gain back some lives they had lost. In certain instances the inactive character’s bar could flash, granting an instant boost to power if they’re tagged. If the life bar for any of a fighter’s expires, that fighter is eliminated from the round. If the timer runs out the fighter with the highest amount of life left in their fights will win the game.
