The action-adventure mobile game The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is based on the Spider-Man character from Marvel Comics. Morality is employed in the “Hero or Menace” system, in which players receive rewards for preventing crimes or penalties for failing to respond or for not doing so on a regular basis.
The rating mechanism is straightforward: the player’s hero rating will rise if they respond to crimes and effectively prevent them; if they fail to do so, their rating will fall.
