Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* Season 3 Now Set for April 2 Launch
Activision has announced that *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* Season 3 will now begin on April 2, 2025, a change from the previously delayed April 3 start date. The season was originally scheduled to launch on March 20, but Activision pushed it back due to the need for more development time. Now, players will get an extra day with the new content, which will also serve as a free trial period for the game.
The free trial, lasting only 24 hours, will be the shortest demo offered by *Black Ops 6* so far, following similar events in December 2024 and February 2025. The start time for the season is set at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 5 pm CET, with Warzone’s Season 3 remaining on track for its April 3 start, albeit with a 24-hour downtime for maintenance.
Season 3 marks a significant milestone for *Black Ops 6*, as it enters the final stretch of its life cycle, with only three more seasons planned before the release of a new *Call of Duty* game. Fans can expect more details and exciting content as the season kicks off next month.
