Path of Exile 2 Reveals New Huntress Class and Major Features in Dawn of the Hunt Update
Grinding Gear Games has unveiled major details for *Path of Exile 2’s first major content update, Dawn of the Hunt*, set to release on April 4, 2025. This update will introduce exciting new features, including the addition of a new Huntress class, five new Ascendancy classes, and significant expansions to the character system and Endgame content.
The update will bring 20 new skills for the Huntress, an Azmeri warrior skilled in both melee and ranged combat. Players can also expect over 100 new Support Gems, new Unique Items, and the highly anticipated Raise Spectre skill. Additionally, new encounters such as Azmerian Wisps, Rogue Exiles, and a special strongbox encounter with The Ogham’s Legacy will be added.
Endgame content will also see improvements, with new areas within seven Endgame maps, new Cleansed Maps, and a new Corrupted Essences mechanic. Alongside these, players will encounter new Ascendancy classes, including The Smith of Kitava, designed to enhance the Smithing skills of the Mercenary, Warrior, and Witch classes.
*Path of Exile 2* entered early access in December 2024, with the full release slated for May 2025. The Dawn of the Hunt update will be available early to those who purchase the Early Access Supporter Pack.
With *Path of Exile 2* receiving positive community feedback, including for the new Huntress class, fans are eagerly awaiting the new content.
