Leaker Reveals Potential October 2025 Release Window for Call of Duty
A Spanish leaker, InfoCoDES, has narrowed down the release window for the 2025 *Call of Duty* game, claiming it could launch in early October. This would mean the next installment arrives less than a year after *Black Ops 6*, which released in October 2024.
Rumors about the 2025 *Call of Duty* entry have been circulating for months. Recent reports suggest Treyarch is leading development and that the game’s Zombies mode will feature six round-based maps, including ones set in New York, Japan, and a Dark Aether space station.
If true, the October 2025 release would follow Activision’s typical pattern, with several past *Call of Duty* games launching less than a year after their predecessors. Historically, the franchise releases games in October or November, with October being the more common month.
Additionally, there are reports that *Black Ops 6* may receive only five seasons of content, deviating from the typical six seasons seen in most recent *Call of Duty* games.
Activision is expected to announce the 2025 game officially in the summer, continuing the long-standing tradition of annual releases for the series.
