Atomfall Bug Silences Players, Workarounds Emergent

*Atomfall*, the new action-RPG released on March 27, has been encountering a frustrating audio bug that cuts out all sound early in the game. While the issue has not been officially addressed by the development team, the player community is actively sharing workarounds.

The game, set in an alternate 1960s where nuclear radiation has ravaged northwestern England, launched with a range of bugs. These include issues with combat AI, subtitles, and NPC behaviour. However, the audio bug remains unresolved, leaving players without sound across multiple platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

Players suspect the bug may be linked to the game’s autosave feature, though no consistent trigger has been identified. The most effective workaround discovered so far is to exit and restart the game, which temporarily restores the audio, though it may need to be repeated.

Despite the technical hiccups, *Atomfall* has gained attention for its unique British charm and similarities to the *Fallout* series. With the community’s continued support, players hope that a more permanent fix will be coming soon from Rebellion Developments.
