Dead by Daylight Introduces New Tokyo Ghoul Killer: Ken Kaneki

Dead by Daylight has officially added Ken Kaneki, the half-ghoul protagonist from the popular anime and manga series *Tokyo Ghoul*, as its latest Killer. Known as “The Ghoul” in the game, Kaneki comes with a powerful set of abilities designed to make him a deadly force for Survivor players.

The inclusion of Kaneki has been highly anticipated, with clues hinting at his arrival for over a year. From in-game Easter eggs to cryptic messages, players speculated about his crossover appearance. Now, The Ghoul brings his terrifying powers to *Dead by Daylight*, with a unique arsenal that includes his Kagune Leap, allowing him to swiftly move across the map and bypass obstacles. His ability to perform consecutive leaps, especially when hitting Survivors, triggers a “Kagune Mark” and leads to an enraged mode, making him even more dangerous.

Kaneki also brings three new Killer perks:

– **Hex: Nothing But Misery**: Curses Survivors, applying a hindered effect after basic attacks.
– **Forever Entwined**: Increases speed when picking up, dropping, and hooking Survivors.
– **None Are Free**: Blocks windows and pallets after all generators are completed.

This highly mobile Killer adds a fresh challenge to the game, contrasting with the recent Skull Merchant rework that relied more on drones for reconnaissance.

The update also includes several gameplay changes, such as the return of the Blood Moon event, which starts on April 7, and improvements to survivor and killer balancing.

With Kaneki’s arrival, players can expect a new level of intensity in their Dead by Daylight trials, as they face off against one of the most fearsome characters from *Tokyo Ghoul*.
