Nintendo Reveals More Third-Party Games for Switch 2 Launch

Nintendo has confirmed several third-party games that will be available for the Switch 2, with many of them set to launch alongside the new console on June 5. The upcoming titles include both indie gems and major releases, such as *Star Wars Outlaws* and *Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess*, as well as smaller indie titles like *Human Fall Flat 2* and *Witchbrook*.

The announcement came during Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct, where the company revealed key details about the new console, including its $449 price and launch date. Among the first-party games announced were *Mario Kart World*, *Donkey Kong Bananza*, and *Kirby Air Riders*, with exclusive titles like *The Duskbloods* from From Software also making an appearance.

In addition to first-party titles, the Switch 2’s sizzle reel highlighted 22 third-party games, with 7 available on launch day, including *Puyo Puyo Tetris 2S*, *Fortnite*, and *Arcade Archives 2: Ridge Racer*. Notable games like *Hollow Knight: Silksong* and *Marvel Cosmic Invasion* will also be available in 2025.

The Switch 2 will feature backward compatibility, and some games will offer “Switch 2 Editions” for enhanced upgrades. While some big titles, such as *Borderlands 4* and *Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition*, were not included in the reel, it’s clear that Nintendo has plenty more games to reveal before the console’s launch.

Pre-orders for the Switch 2 will begin on April 9, and fans can expect even more announcements leading up to the release.
