Capcom Cracks Down on Cheating in Monster Hunter Wilds
Capcom has announced a crackdown on cheating in *Monster Hunter Wilds* following concerns about cheaters gaining an unfair advantage in the new timed quests introduced in Title Update 1. The update brought new high-rank monsters and competitive timed quests, but some players feared that cheating could disrupt the integrity of these activities.
To maintain fairness in these new quests, Capcom has promised to take action against players using cheating software or external tools. Players are encouraged to report suspicious activity via the report button on hunter profiles.
Those found guilty of cheating will face account suspensions or be restricted from earning rewards in quests. This rule applies not only to individual players but also to entire teams if any member is caught cheating.
Title Update 1, now live, adds 6 to 10 GB of new content, including time-based quests, new monsters like Mizutsune and Zoh Shia, and several new story and side missions. Players can also look forward to the Festival of Accord event, running from April 23 to May 6, 2025.
With a focus on fair competition, *Monster Hunter Wilds* aims to provide an exciting experience for all hunters in the game.
