Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Disappointing Ifa Changes Ahead of Version 5.6
New Genshin Impact beta leaks have revealed concerning updates for **Ifa**, an upcoming 4-star Electro character set to debut in **Version 5.6**. Once a highly anticipated unit, recent changes have left many fans disappointed with his overall performance and role.
**Why Fans Were Excited for Ifa:**
Ifa quickly gained popularity following his appearance in the Version 5.5 flagship event. Many hoped he would be Natlan’s second male 5-star character, but it was later confirmed that he would be a 4-star. His unique design, strong voice acting by Jonny Loquasto, and synergy with Ororon gave fans high expectations.
**Leaked Kit Changes Spark Backlash:**
Early beta leaks positioned Ifa as an on-field unit for Electro-Charged teams with some group healing abilities. However, his healing has been found to be minimal, and recent changes further downplay that aspect of his kit.
### Notable Changes in Version 5.6:
– **Passive 4 (P4):** Ifa can heal party members by consuming 10 Phlogiston when HP drops below 40%, but only while exploring Natlan. This passive doesn’t work in Domains, the Spiral Abyss, or Trounce Domains, limiting its usefulness.
– **Constellation 6 (C6):** Now gives a 50% chance to fire an extra Tonicshot dealing 120% ATK as Anemo DMG. However, Ifa has one of the lowest base ATK stats in the game, reducing the impact of this ability.
While his exploration passive makes him valuable in **Natlan**, many players feel it comes too late in the region’s content cycle, with only one zone left before the game moves on to **Nod-Krai**.
Unless further buffs are introduced, fans are advised to **lower expectations for Ifa**. Genshin Impact Version 5.6 launches on **May 7, 2025**.
