WoW Classic Phase 4 Launches May 1 for 20th Anniversary Realms

Blizzard has announced that **Phase 4 of World of Warcraft Classic’s 20th Anniversary Edition realms** will officially begin on **May 1**. The update brings a wave of classic content for “Classic Fresh” players, including the **Zul’Gurub raid**, **Dragons of Nightmare**, and several popular world events.

Zul’Gurub is a 20-player raid featuring 10 bosses, including the final encounter with **Hakkar the Soulflayer**. With no attunement required and a faster reset cycle, it offers an easier way for players to gear up and chase rare mounts like the **Swift Razzashi Raptor** and **Swift Zulian Tiger**.

Phase 4 also introduces **Tier 0.5 dungeon set upgrades**. Players can start questlines in Ironforge or Orgrimmar to upgrade their current dungeon gear into more powerful sets.

Other content includes:

– **Dragons of Nightmare**: World bosses in Ashenvale, Duskwood, Feralas, and the Hinterlands
– **Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza**: Weekly fishing event with exclusive rewards
– **Stirring of the Silithids**: New quests and activities in Silithus to prepare for Phase 5’s Gates of Ahn’Qiraj

WoW Classic’s 20th Anniversary servers continue to revisit Vanilla content on a steady schedule, with some realms eventually progressing into *The Burning Crusade*, while others remain true to Classic.
