FBC: Firebreak Release Date Set for June 17
Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that *FBC: Firebreak*, its first multiplayer co-op shooter, will release on June 17 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Following the events of *Control*, the game places players in the role of agents in the Federal Bureau of Control’s Firebreak response unit, tasked with cleaning up remnants of extradimensional threats.
Set in the paranatural world of the *Control* universe, players will use a variety of unpredictable Altered Items as weapons. Although fans won’t step into the shoes of *Control*’s protagonist, Jesse Faden, they will encounter new and familiar areas of the Oldest House.
The game will feature up to three-player co-op missions, offering a blend of new and familiar gameplay. *FBC: Firebreak* will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PlayStation Plus from day one, with the standard edition priced at $39.99 and the Deluxe Edition at $49.99. PC players can purchase it on Steam or the Epic Games Store.
This release marks the next chapter in Remedy’s expanding universe, with *FBC: Firebreak* bridging the gap between *Control* and its upcoming sequel.
